The Ankh is the symbol of life and healing for both religious and magical purposes. Often this symbol is crafted from metal or other materials and imbued with divine energy and used as amulets or part of altars. The Ankh is a well recognised symbol in human society and is featured in countless religions. For many years it was considered a purely human symbol as it had not been found among the other races until it was reported that within the ruins beneath Lost Bahssikava (Formerly populated by Slithzerikai) there was a holy altar with an ankh affixed on top; there was no chance that the previous residents had had contact with humans, thus proving that the Ankh is more universal than first thought.
