Mining

Mining is manual labour with the aim to excavate minerals and ore from the earth. It is usually done by picks and shovels. The resulting ore is usually shipped to nearby Forts or mining colonies for further alchemical evaluation and refining.
Hazards
Rarely, mining blindly can reveal ancient crypts or caverns that had previously gone unnoticed. Falling rocks, avalanches and cave-quakes are a constant threat to the miners.
