Nekaros

Nekaros was a necromancer who maintained Northpoint Lighthouse on the Isle of Bigail. He was known for his advocacy of the creation of undead as proper and humane treatment of the dead, and also for using undead as domestic servants.

Although he had some success with skeletons and zombies, he had problems binding other undead. In one case, a specter he tried to bind resisted his magic and set about terrorizing Nekaros and the surrounding countryside.
