Spine Beasts
(Redirected from Spine Beast)
Spine beasts are worm-like apex predators covered in tough scales and sharp spines.
Physiology
Spine beasts grow from 10 to 20 feet. Their elongated bodies are covered in pale grey scales and sharp, pneumatized quills. Spine beasts are fast, ferocious, and can aim at an armoured opponent's weak point with a shot spine. The spines tend to hit with such force that they paralyze the victim.
Behaviour
Spine beasts are a very elusive species that most often live in remote regions, usually (but not always) in caves. They are ill-tempered, but not so ill-tempered as to not allow other creatures such as troglodytes domesticate and breed them.
