Dumbfounding

Being dumbfounded is a mental condition that has left the subject very dizzy and mentally unstable, resulting in reduced capability to speak and in inability to perform magic that requires verbal and sophisticated somatic components. At least Mung Demons and Gazers are known to be able to irradiate a harmful ray that alters a person's mind, causing dumbfounding. There are also several, unconfirmed reports of Mind crystals sometimes causing similar conditions upon usage.
