Evermoon is the eighth month of the Pralgadian Calendar and is considered the end of the year.

The Terror

Evermoon 3rd also goes by the sinister name The Terror. All manner of dark creatures seem to be roused into action to cause chaos and destruction. In the more unsettled areas of the world (such as Avernum) it has been reported that there are a higher number of wandering monsters during this dark time.

It is unknown what about this time causes these dark creatures to emerge. Several theories have been proposed, both supernatural and more mundane.
