Night of Vengeance
Empire 8th is also known in Avernum as the Night of Vengeance. Starting sometime after the first exiles, participants would let themselves be filled with all the rage and hatred they felt towards the Empire which would be unleashed as screaming war chants. Weapon merchants of time would mark down the prices of their melee products as matter of course.
Of course in this day and age after the Reconciliation this holiday is not as widespread as it was. Although there are some citizens of the Exile region have not let go of their anger, particularly those who inhabit the Abyss.
