Giant slugs

Giant slugs are, as their name implies, a very large version of the common garden slug. Like common slugs, they are slow-moving, gooey, vaguely cylindrical creatures who exude an acid with which they digest whatever they encounter. Unlike common slugs, they are intelligent enough to hunt prey, and their acid is extremely powerful and can be launched at other creatures from some distance.

Giant slugs are scavengers, who will sometimes collect things they can't digest, such as metal. They are at home in swampy areas, and sometimes associate with spore beasts.

Soldiers in Krizsan have reported some success combating slugs with salt.
