Talk:Chevyn

So, A4 says that Starrus is the SECOND king of Avernum.
There is nothing to suggest otherwise that I can find. And frankly, it makes sense. Avernites are practical. I can't really see anyone being willingly governed by Chevyn (except possibly Houghton, who is the one who talks the most about the transition from Micah to Starrus). I arrived at the date of 846 in the timeline because Starrus took the throne when he was 14, but is in his early twenties in A4. I wanted to push it early to account for the fact that Micah is already beyond venerable.
Am I missing something, or can we fix the various articles that claim Chevyn was king? --- Slarty 11:42, 8 May 2006 (CDT)
- You're only ignoring Za-Khazi Run, which states that Chevyn is a puppet king. --Drakey 15:40, 8 May 2006 (CDT)
- The text strings "Chevyn" and "chevyn" do not appear ANYWHERE in either the BoE, or BoA versions of Za-Khazi Run. I just double checked. Where in ZKR does it say that? --- Slarty 16:26, 8 May 2006 (CDT)
- That's so strange! I just looked too and couldn't find anything - I could have sworn that it was in there. --Drakey 05:29, 9 May 2006 (CDT)
- So where does it come from? If it's in the games, than the games contradict themselves (in which case we'd have to decide what to believe); otherwise, the canon clearly states Chevyn wasn't king. Arancaytar | Send Reply! --- That is not dead which can eternal lie... 06:32, 9 May 2006 (CDT)
