Talk:Quickfire

This text contains a number of statements that are a bit far from the canon for my tastes. 1) Quickfire was originally a level 7 spell that cost 50 mana, and which even Rentar was only capable of teaching with the aid of a powerful demonic tome... that seems at odds with "no more difficulty than, say, a common firestorm."

2) It was used in 211 IE, by humans?!? Along with a doomguard, for that matter? Yeah, Empire supression of magic and all, but given the stupid megalomania displayed by most Empire leaders, I can't believe both such powerful effects went unused for 600 years.

3 "The Quickfire spell, however, has been widely known in almost all times."  ???

4) "the flames will die when the light of day touches them" -- ???. And tying Quickfire to Erika's curse makes no sense whatsoever.

5) a magical plane of energy? ?_?_? Is there some kind of justification for these statements that I'm missing, or what? --- Slartucker 10:11, 3 February 2006 (CST)

I did say it was unedited. It needs major wikification and factual correction and canonizing. I just didn't have time to do so now.
