Unicorn Caves

The Unicorn Caves are a series of volcanic tunnels in the Pergha mountains just to the east of Upper Avernum, and just to the west of the Unicorn Pass. They are named the Unicorn Caves due to the unicorns that once roamed en masse near the caves, and made their homes there. Strange cave paintings have proven that the denizens of the caves had some intelligence. Hunting by inexperienced soldiers and adventurers has driven the unicorns to near extinction in this area.
