Vidrain

Vidrain is a mage who was responsible for much of the work done on portals at the Tower of Magi. He assisted in the creation of the original portal. When it was redirected to Upper Avernum, he was given charge of the portal, and became one of the most influential mages at the Tower.

Throughout these years, he spent most of his time standing near the portal. The constant magical energy wracked his mind, but his location also allowed him to escape the Tower of Magi disaster alive. Today, Vidrain resides in Fort Avernum, where he oversees the new portal.
