Wolves

Wolves are furry, carnivorous canines found on the surface of Ermarian. They typically hunt in packs. Sometimes, packs of wolves are led by worgs. They typically do not attack humans unless desperate for food or provoked. Goblins, and occasionally bandits, tame wolves for use as guards and attack animals. Recently, wolves have been introduced to the cave systems of Avernum, leading to a breed of 'cave wolves'. Notably, cave wolves have been used as guard animals for lone humans.
