Zed

This entry refers to the hapless soldier, not the assistant librarian.

Zed was a citizen of the Abyss. While fighting against the giants, he was captured, and managed to escape with the help of a nephil named Hfass and an unknown slith mage.

When the Empire invaded, Zed was captured and forced to join the Empire's troops. Once he had become a member of the Imperial Army, he was in turn captured by Avernum. What happened to him afterwards is not known.
