Ancient Aizoan is a precursor to Imperial Standard that originated during the early days of the Aizoan Empire. When the tribes unified to create the Aizoan Empire, this new language arose. Now obsolete, Ancient Aizoan helped lay the base for Imperial Standard, along with Native Pralgadian. There are several scholars at large universities who still study Ancient Aizoan, which is mainly used for names nowadays - of people, cities, and landmarks.
