Blackcrag

The Blackcrag pass at the south of the Ndovlu mountains is the last piece of the road that connects the continent of Pralgad to that of Valorim. It does not reach into the mountains very far, and indeed used to be much shorter before the Empire tasked veritable armies of wizards with breaking a path deeper into the impassable mountain range.

The southern end of of the Blackcrag pass is protected by Blackcrag Fortress, a huge bastion that was originally constructed as a forepost for the settling of Valorim and protection against whatever dwelled there. During the Plagues and the quarantine of Valorim it was actually required for this function, as terrible monsters threatened to push north through the mountains and eventually invade Pralgad.
