Boutell

Boutell was the master blacksmith of Avernum, who operated a forge in Fort Draco. Until the Reconciliation, Boutell was the only Avernite capable of working steel. Avernum relied on his skills greatly, especially during the Empire-Avernum War. Weapons from his forge were proudly called Draco steel to celebrate their quality.

Boutell also had skill at weapon repairs. In 817 IE he reforged Demonslayer for Hawthorne's Assassins.

Finally, he is also known for possessing a very large anvil.
