Fort Monastery is located about 50 mi due west of Fort Draco, through tunnels and over two bridges, in some former Giant-controlled lands. It was built over an old abandoned Monastery (thus the name) in 849 IE. It's building was a point of achievement for Avernum showing their evergrowing power and growth.
It was here that the Shade-Killers first started their illustrious journey under Captain Matos.
