Fort Talrus is located on the southern end of Skylark Vale, due south of Sweetgrove, and guards the path south into Valorim via the Ndvolu Mountains.

Skylark Curse

During the Skylark Curse, the Fort itself was little effected by the disease. When refugees began fleeing from the Vale, the Fort saw a grizzly rise in business, catering to the refugees before they left the Vale. Later, after crop failure became more severe, the fort was adapted somewhat to grow food, as its crops were from rainwater, not diseased river water. Thus, the Fort supported the rest of the Vale as best they could during the Curse. Also, it was here that the adventurers who eventually cleansed the Vale entered from.
