Elspeth

Note: This entry refers to the notable Avernites, not the Bavner shopkeeper also named Elspeth.

Elspeth and Nance were a lesbian couple who were exiled because of their sexual orientation. Elspeth also stood out due to her characteristic "lethal" look; she often wore leather suits with knives protruding from various parts of her anatomy. Nance, in contrast, was a gentler soul who loved working with horses on the surface.

The two women ran an arms shop together in Cotra until the town was destroyed in the Empire-Avernum War. They were two of the first volunteers who went to build New Cotra, where they again ran an arms shop together.
