Exiled, a:
Having been cast down into Exile. This is the short form that was used by the Empire under Emperor Hawthorne II and III to describe the punishment of being permanently teleported to the caverns. The full sentence in the legal language ran:
- For the crime of _______, and considering that the defendant is a genuine detriment to the functioning of society, the defendant is hereby sentenced to be cast out and teleported to the caverns of Exile, never to return.
