Scree Pits

The Scree Pits is the name given to a basically unusable, rubble choked cavern in Exile that lies between the Great Cave and the lakes of the slithzerikai, with some connecting passages to the Abyss. Besides being filled with rubble, the pits are also useless due to the significant undead presence, which probably came about due to the influence of one longtime resident of the pits --- Drath, the lich.

The Scree Pits served as a sort of no-man's-land during the First Slith War and again during the Empire-Avernum War. The Empire had an outpost there before the war. Bandits have often used the pits for their outposts as well.
