Smelting

Smelting's main use is to produce a base metal from its' ore, including production of silver, iron, copper and other useful metals.

Methods

Smelting requires the usage of alchemy and/or high-temperature furnaces to free the metal from its' oxidized/carbonized/sulfisized form. Fort Draco and Dharmon are the most famous places within Kingdom of Avernum that have capabilities for smelting and high-quality metallurgy.
