Magically created? -- Slarty 17:55, 23 December 2006 (PST)
- That's what the game says!Arch-Mage Solberg 18:11, 23 December 2006 (PST)
- Where does it say that? I'm interested, and definitely don't remember it. -- Slarty 19:37, 23 December 2006 (PST)
- Cheeseball says it in A1. In A2, he talks about how he'd jump in the lava if he wasn't magically obligated to 'baldy' (Solberg). Arch-Mage Solberg 19:45, 23 December 2006 (PST)
- It seems to me that Slartucker is asking whether familiars are, according to canon, magically created or just caught and bound through magic. Since Cheeseball resents his enslavement, it's a good bet he has something to compare it to; that is, he would have at one point in his life not been a familiar and so would presumably not have been magically enslaved. --Rakshasi 20:36, 23 December 2006 (PST)

- Most of Cheeseball's resentment in the games is seen after he is moved from the Tower of Magi to the Isolated Tower. That is the only resentment I have ever heard him talk about.Arch-Mage Solberg 07:40, 24 December 2006 (PST)
- That's because we don't meet Cheeseball until after he has moved there. Regardless, being magically obligated is not the same thing as being magically created. Sigh. --- Slarty 09:09, 24 December 2006 (PST)
