Welcome
Hello! Glad to see you join.
By the way, are you posting at the Spiderweb forum? Because if so, I have no idea who you are there ;)

Re: Your message
Yes, that's the right place to post. :) However, when you write a message, you should append your signature by just writing the characters
~~~~
at the end of the message. The wiki will automatically convert that to your name and date (you can customize it in the Preferences page).
Also, have you thought about getting a webmail account that can be opened in a normal browser? You wouldn't need an email program for that. There are plenty of free services like Yahoo, Hotmail or Googlemail. Googlemail is easily the best, but you need an invitation mail to use it, so you need a working email account already. Still, if you get a Yahoo account or something, I could send you a Googlemail invitation there.
Like Aran said, welcome! It's nice to see your contributions to the encyclopedia. --- Slarty 00:44, 30 April 2006 (CDT)
AA -- why did you remove the link on hasted? Hasting is a magical effect that deserves an entry much like magical barriers do, and Limoncelli might well be mentioned in that entry, given the entirely unique way he was hasted.
If you are going to undo an edit made by somebody else, you really need to explain why. Disagreement should be brought up and discussed. Unless you're 100% sure about the change, you should bring it up before you edit it. --- Slarty 10:10, 30 April 2006 (CDT)
Just for clarification, there is nothing wrong with linking to a page that doesn't exist yet. There are hundreds of pages that could exist, but don't yet. --- Slarty 18:35, 30 April 2006 (CDT)
Re: your message
Don't worry about it Joshie. It's all good :)
BTW, to mark an article as a stub, all you need to do is stick {{stub}} at the end of it (just before the category labels). That gives it the stub template, which automatically categorizes it as [[Category:Stub]]. It's better not to do type both in -- if you do, someone who expands the article and removes the stub template may not notice it was also manually categorized as a stub, which will mess up the category. Not a big deal though. --- Slarty 18:19, 4 May 2006 (CDT)
Redirects
Redirects are useful, but we don't want to use them intentionally. What I mean by this is, if Black Shade of Ice redirects to Black Shades, we would just put "Black Shade of Ice" in the article on Formello, rather than linking to something that we know is just going to redirect. That way, it takes less time for someone surfing EE, as they only have to load one page instead of two when they click on the link. This isn't a big deal, and there's no need to change the Formello article, but it should save you some effort in the future. --- Slarty 16:30, 4 June 2006 (CDT)
Personal Information
Just as a note, you probably shouldn't give out your personal details like that. They're not necessary anyway, so all they are is a privacy risk. Information like that can end up in places where you don't want it to be. That includes things like your real name, school, etc.
I'm getting the impression that you haven't been using the internet very long, so please excuse me if I'm telling you something you already know. :) Arancaytar | Send Reply! --- That is not dead which can eternal lie... 04:51, 5 May 2006 (CDT)
This is not your blog
Just as a reminder: This site is dedicated to collecting information about Ermarian. It is not your personal home page. Instead of coming back every few months and updating your personal information, how about actually writing something? :)
