The town of Cavala it situated in the small valley known as Mrrnah Hollow and is two days east of the city of Krizsan. A very young town even compared to the relative youth of it's neighboring towns, it nevertheless has become a prosperous and successful town.

Economy

It's main source of wealth is the rare plant; Sourgrass which grows naturally in the valley. When processed the plant is turned into Hrras juice which has the same effects as a weak healing potion, since this can be mass-produced the juice has become a veritable money crop. Much of it's success can be attributed to the acumen of businesswoman Illona.

History

Cavala was settled in 834 IE by the Empire when it was discovered Sourgrass grew in quantity in the area. The town grew quickly based on this harvest. Then in mid 848 IE vicious attacks began on merchant caravans entering and leaving the hollow leading to most of it's population leaving Cavala in fear of the town itself being attacked. Three months later a group of mercenaries were sent to investigate. After much effort they revealed that there was a traitor within the town itself. After the group of bandits was dispatched citizens returned rapidly to the town.
