The Church of Prevailing Righteousness exists throughout the world, both on the surface and in [[Avernum]. Its largest shrines in Exile are in Mertis and Almaria. The Church is a respected sect of battle-priests whose goal is to bring peace through smiting those who would disturb that peace. A popular religion among adventurers, smiting foes is a central tenet of the religion.
