Provincial Avernum

Provincial Avernum refers to the land ceded to Avernum in the Reconciliation of the Empire and the Kingdom of Avernum. Empress Prazac and Anaximander, head of Unspecified Services, brokered a deal that would allow the Avernites to return to the surface and give them a home of their own. Provincial Avernum is located in southeastern Valorim, and the first Avernites to make the journey to the surface founded the City of Dawn, the province's capital, and Redmark College, a high-level magical college.
