After the Avernites returned to the surface in 834 IE, they established Redmark College in Provincial Avernum, near the City of Dawn. Named after the heroic archmage Erika Redmark, the college is dedicated to the study of the magical arts and codifying the history of Ermarian. It is famed for the publication of the Encyclopedia Ermariana.
