The Slime Pit was the breeding ground for the slime plague that wrecked Krizsan Province, created by the Vahnatai. It was located south-east of Colchis, which was destroyed by the slimes, before it was cleaned out by the Surface Explorers.
The Slime Pit was filled with many varieties of Augmented Slimes, including an Alien Slime. Additionally, it also contained what seemed to be an experiment in merging slimes with wolves, goblins, and other creatures. The pit was labyrinth of passages and caves which lead to separate caverns which housed the slime pools which gave birth to the slimes.
The mage Bojar discovered a way to replicate the creation of slimes from his observations of the Slime Pit.
