The Chasm Drake was a powerful, taciturn, belligerent drake named for the Pit of the Drake in which it lived. There, southwest of Fort Remote, the drake amassed a horde of treasure, including the magical weapon Smite. The drake mostly kept to itself, but roasted anyone who came near it, until it was killed by Hawthorne's Assassins in 817 IE.
