Gebra is located on Gebra Isle one of the islands of the south-eastern Karnold Province island chain. It is the most southern of the settlements Valorim which one of it's few points of note. Due to the island's fertile soil the major industry of Gebra is farming.

At some point before the Plagues the town fell under the control of a mysterious order of Monks who either drugged or magically compelled them into servitude. The Gebrans were treated like serfs on a fiefdom and a few died due to overwork. It not until 833 IE when the Surface Explorers travelled there and did battle in the Monastery of Madness that the hold the Monks had over the town was removed.

In present times the island has returned to being a sleepy backwater town but has more custom in the form of treasure seekers who have heard stories of a strange monastery in the area.
