City format
Many settlements can just get a stubby entry, but the Six Cities, Valorim province capitals, and so on, can have a lot more said about them. Do we/should we have a standard format for cities? I left several obvious sections out of this entry, like Population, because I had little to say about them. This is the first city article, so let's get the format set before we do any more. --- Slartucker 14:48, 1 February 2006 (CST)
See Krizsan
The entry for Krizsan (the city, not the province) has some kind of structure to it. It's not set in stone, but it might give a hint on what else could be included... Arancaytar | Send Reply! --- That is not dead which can eternal lie... 16:44, 1 February 2006 (CST)
- Aha, didn't see that. Krizsan is basically structured according to what's relevant for Krizsan. That's fine. I guess I was just noticing the massive amount of structure in the Avernum and Empire articles -- and there will never be more than a small handful of nations, whereas with many cities, a standard format might increase ease of use.
- Actually, reading through it more, it looks like an awful lot of this information is about the province and not really the city at all -- far more info than there is in the province article... --- Slartucker 17:37, 1 February 2006 (CST)
- Yes, I just remembered it's one of the "legacy" articles from the old encyclopedia, where there was far less structure. When I have time, I'll try to reorder and wikify it a bit. Meanwhile, I'll tag it. Arancaytar | Send Reply! --- That is not dead which can eternal lie... 00:46, 2 February 2006 (CST)
